Urban Artificial Intelligence and Smart Cities (UrbanAI-SmartCities)
The workshop on Urban Artificial Intelligence and Smart Cities aims to bring together the research community interested in the design and application of advanced Artificial Intelligence techniques to address the challenges of smart cities. The growing availability of urban data, along with the deployment of sensors, IoT platforms, connected infrastructures, and cyber-physical systems, is driving new opportunities to develop AI-based solutions capable of improving efficiency, sustainability, resilience, and quality of life in urban environments.
In this new edition, the workshop places special emphasis on emerging topics of great scientific and technological relevance, such as generative AI, foundation models, urban digital twins, multimodal analytics, distributed intelligence in the edge-cloud continuum, and trustworthy, human-centric AI. The workshop aspires to consolidate itself as a space for exchanging ideas, results, and experiences among researchers and professionals working at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Smart Cities.
